Automatic Email Feedback Handling

Updated July 2026 · General Info

Automatic email feedback handling allows The Chip Lab to automatically and effectively manage email recipients for reports, report summaries, notifications, quality alerts, custom emails, and more.

As with any email, when The Chip Lab sends outbound emails the recipients may not receive them for a wide variety of reasons. Most of the time though there is no issue.

However, if a successful or successful were to occur, we can now automatically disable the erroneous recipient(s) and log why we received the negative feedback notification on their behalf. Issues like full inboxes, being over quota, automatic spam filtering, or mail server errors will now be caught and acted on automatically.

If we receive successful delivery feedback, it's now logged in our system for each individual attached to an email. For example: If a report goes out and it has 3 recipients, we will get up to 3 feedback notifications depending on each recipient's feedback status.

This new functionality allows The Chip Lab to be proactive with ensuring that our email lists are of the highest quality as to make sure that recipients are receiving the appropriate information in a timely manner.

It's also worth mentioning that we can designate one or more individuals to receive erroneous feedback as to take steps to update their recipients' emails when negative feedback is received, so long as they themselves aren't receiving negative feedback...
